Obituary for Raymond A "Ray" Yurick
Raymond A. “Ray” Yurick, 85, of Kirtland, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Kirtland Rehabilitation and Care.
Born Dec. 6, 1937, in Grindstone, Pa., he had been a resident of Lake County for more than 50 years.
Ray retired after 43 years from Picker International, where had worked as a tester of diagnostic x-ray equipment.
Raymond was the dear friend of Chris (Susan) Cunningham.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Charlotte (nee Korincak) Yurick; two brothers; and one sister.
Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life Service at 6:30 p.m. Father Dave Woost of The Chapel of Divine Word will be the celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name are suggested to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
