Obituary for Paula Jean Gibson
Paula Jean Gibson, 75, of Mentor, passed away Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 12, 1947, in Cleveland.
Paula loved her family, grandchildren and her pets.
She was the loving mother of Michael D. Ketterman, Richard D. Ketterman and Jodi L. Ketterman (fiancé, Tim Nekic); stepmother of Debbie (Chris) Dufour; former mother-in-law of Jamie Ketterman; cherished grandmother of Adam Takis, Nick Ketterman, Gracie Ketterman, Isabella Ketterman and Joshua Holstein; a great-grandmother; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
Paula was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ray R. “Sonny” Gibson in 2019; dear daughter, Shelley A. Ketterman; parents, Jimmy and Harriet (nee Auhl) Nagy; and siblings, John McGill and James McGill.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor. Burial will be private.
