Obituary for Patricia A Simmons
Patricia A. (nee Drake) Simmons, age 73, of South Euclid, was called to Heaven Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022.
She was the beloved mother of Timothy Severovich; cherished grandmother of Silver Severovich; and sister of Charles (Linda, dec.) Drake, Gregory (Donna) Drake and Mary (Joe) Sgro. Patricia was a cherished aunt, treasured cousin, and friend to many. She will be especially missed by her devoted friends, Kaylee Paetsch, Donna Drake, and Margaret Lyons.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Agnes (nee Stasel) Drake; and brother, Joey Drake.
Patricia was an established artist and shared her love of art as an art teacher, teaching in the Cleveland Public Schools for many years. She shared her talents with the Euclid Art Association and Fairmount Center for the Arts, where some of her art is currently displayed. In addition, she enjoyed thrifting and lunching with her friends and the art club.
You are invited you to join the family as they celebrate Patricia's life from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2022, with a brief service at 4:30 p.m. at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby.
In Patricia's memory, the family suggests donations to Fairmount Center for the Arts, Euclid Art Association, or Stella Maris.
