Obituary for Patricia Ann Mahoney
Patricia Ann Mahoney, 92, of Mentor, passed away Friday, Nov. 17, 2023, at Tapestry Senior Living in Wickliffe.
Born March 8, 1931, in Detroit, Mich., she had lived in Sun City, Ariz., before moving to Lake County.
Patricia was a member of the Sun City Pose organization. She was a graduate of Marygrove College in Detroit and a retired elementary school teacher from St. Clair Shores, Mich.
She was the cherished aunt of Mary Hennessey Puttock of Winchester, Va., Phyllis Hennessey Chabut of Mentor and Donna Hennessey Bussure of Oxford, Mich.; a great-aunt and great-great-aunt.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert J. and Mary Ann E. (nee LaCroix) Mahoney; sister, Betty F. (Robert, dec.) Hennessey; and nephew, James Hennessey.
Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, at St. Louis Catholic Church, 24415 Crocker Blvd., Clinton Township, Mich. Burial will take place following the Mass at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Clinton Township, Mich.
