Obituary for Patricia Jean Johnson

Funeral Mass for Patricia Jean Johnson, 82, of Painesville, will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor. Father Martin Dober will officiate.
Patricia passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born Feb. 18, 1940, in Euclid, she had been a resident of Lake County for more than 70 years, living in Wickliffe, Mentor and Willoughby Hills before moving to Painesville.
She was very strong in her Catholic faith and was a member of St. John Vianney Church in Mentor, where she served as a Eucharistic minister and Families in Christ, prayed the Rosary daily and worked at the Parish Festival. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, loved being outdoors, had a contagious laugh, had a strong sense of fashion and style, and shopping was one of her favorite things to do. In her younger days, she also enjoyed arts and crafts.
Patricia was the loving wife of 62 years to John R. “Jack” Johnson; loving mother of Cheryl L. (Timothy) Graham and Cyndi L. (Scott) Hudock; cherished grandmother of Danielle (Ronny) Cordaro, Lyndsey (Nick) DeCesare, Brittany (Matt) Fleck, Brandon Hudock, Tim Graham and Alivia Hudock; great-grandmother of Cecelia, Ronny, Carter, Kinsley, Michael and Noah; sister-in-law of Linda Bosco; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, John A. Johnson in 1964; parents, Robert and Grace Marie (nee Walker) Bosco; and brother, William Bosco.
Family will receive friends from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
