Obituary for Patricia Louise Hrusa
Patricia Louise (nee Hunter) Hrusa, 67, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023, at UH Lake West Hospital in Willoughby.
Born Oct. 21, 1955, in Chardon, she had lived in Chardon and Stuart, Fla., before moving to Lake County 36 years ago.
Patricia always put her family before herself and spending time with them. Her hobbies included reading, copying recipes, playing cards and matching games on her PC, and was an avid cat lover.
Mrs. Hrusa was a team member and caregiver at Lake Health and University Hospitals for 14 years as a BBX operator.
She was the beloved wife of 39 years to Larry Charles Hrusa; loving mother of Kevin Michael Hrusa of Mentor-on-the-Lake; stepmother of Kim Lynn (Danny) Arroyo of Twin Peaks, Calif.; stepgrandmother of Braydon Arroyo and Ryan (Joni) Arroyo, both of California; dear sister of Kathy (nee Hunter) Nicholls, Laura (nee Hunter) Nicholls, both of Ohio, and Vicki (nee Hunter) (Dennis) Helsley of Arizona; aunt of Jennifer (Andrew) Kanaga and Amber Nicholls, both of Ohio, Britton Nicholls of California, Keagan Nicholls and Peyton Nicholls, both of Ohio, Justin (Victoria) Helsley and Jordon (Elizabeth) Helsley, both of Arizona; great-aunt of Julie (Tyler) Brzeczkowski, Aiden Kanaga, Evan Kanaga and Iris Nicholls, all of Ohio, Lincol Helsley and Penelope Helsley, both of Arizona; great-great-aunt of Seth Brezeczkowski and Audriana Brzeczkowski, both of Ohio; and stepgreat-grandmother of Ryden Arroyo, Rylee Arroyo, Benny Arroyo, Xenz Arroyo, and Ollie Arroyo, all of California.
