Obituary for Michele R Voelker
Michele R. Voelker, 63, of Willoughby, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023, at University Hospital in Cleveland.
Born April 1, 1960, in Spangler, Pa., she had lived in Lake County for nearly 30 years.
Michele was a member of the Amvets Post 109 Ladies Auxiliary, Elks Club and the Lake County Rod and Gun Club. She was dearly loved and will be truly missed.
She was the loving mother of Stacy Becker (Jason Jacobson) of Willoughby and Travis (Myalee) Becker of Ashtabula; cherished grandmother of Joshua Baughman, Hailee Baughman, Hannah Jacobson and Grayson Conklin; dear sister of Daniel (Marie) Switzler, Joseph (Diane) Switzler and Darlene (Steve) Schlick; and aunt of Shea Switzler, Nicole Switzler and Scott Burnette. Michele also leaves her companion, Jan Hamstead and his son, Ryder; her sweet furbabies, Rilla, Ruger and Mich; and many dear loved ones and friends.
Michele was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Twila (nee Legrand) Switzler.
Family will be receiving friends at a Celebration of Life Gathering to begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2023, at the Lake County Rod and Gun Club, 6299 E. Loveland Road, Madison. Instead of flowers, the family asks that if you would like to you could bring a snack or side dish to the gathering.
