Obituary for Michael Leonard Angelo

Funeral Mass for Michael Leonard Angelo, 37, of North Olmsted, will be 12 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 29, at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Fr. Dennis McNeil will be officiating.
Michael passed away Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, at The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland.
Born March 7, 1986, in Euclid, Michael had lived in The Plains, Mentor and Euclid, before moving to North Olmsted three years ago.
Mike was a gamer and video game enthusiast, which is how he met his wife, Ashley, mother of his son, Evan, and the love of his life. He learned to install carpet and other types of flooring at a young age, and did that most of his life with his dad and brother. Mike was very handy with tools, fixing and building all kinds of things. He was a quiet, gentle, hard-working, generous and loyal person.
Michael is survived by his mother, Patricia A. Holzheimer; siblings of Nicholas M. Angelo and Michelle R. Angelo; nieces and nephews Mya and Joseph Padron and Syenola Angelo; and nephew and cousin of many.
Michael was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ashley N. (nee Hunter); and loving son, Evan Matthew Angelo.
Family will receive friends from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 29, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave., Willoughby (located on the grounds of the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby. Burial will be private.
