Mary Lou (nee Blevins) Platia, 70, of Painesville Township, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023, at her residence in Painesville Township.
She was born June 18, 1952, in Johnson City, Tenn.
Mary Lou was a retired employee of Wickliffe Schools and had worked at Giant Eagle in Willoughby.
She was an avid Cleveland sports fan and loved spending time with her grandkids.
She was the beloved wife of 51 years to Charles Platia; loving mother of Charlie M. (Hope) Platia of Fairview Park and Michelle L. (Chris) Kytta of Perry; cherished grandmother of Charlie III, Milania and Christian; dear sister of Doris Jackson and Albert Blevins; and niece of Ann Clark.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her grandson, Zack; and parents, Albert and Maxine (nee Clark) Blevins.
