Obituary for Martha L Herbert
Martha L. (nee Sedam) Herbert, 77, of Euclid, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Martha was born June 14, 1945, in Indianapolis, Ind.
She was a former member of Our Lady of the Lake (Holy Cross), enjoyed reading and sports, especially the Guardians and March Madness.
She was the loving mother of Ronald J. (Helen) Herbert, Teri (Tod) Egan and Christina R. Herbert; cherished grandmother of Rachel, Andrew, Katlyn, Anthony, Ashley, Justin, Daniel, Gregory, Brandon, Kimberley and Hailey; great-grandmother of Brettley Jr., Jaxon, Coby, Charlotte and Grayson; sister of Russell (Joanne) Sedam; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
Martha was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roland J. Herbert in 2014; son, Jeffrey A. Herbert; parents, Charles and Esther (nee LaFara) Sedam; and siblings, Charles Sedam, Violet Duncan, Norma McHugh, Doris Meyers, Phyllis Fisher, Peggy Osborne and Carrie Hausman.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor, with a Celebration of Life service at 5 p.m. Burial will be private.
