Obituary for Louis Trenka

Louis Trenka, 77, of Medina, passed away peacefully April 11, 2023, at University Hospital.
He was born Aug. 25, 1945, in Cleveland to Louis and Mary Trenka.
Lou was a 1967 graduate of Bowling Green University, where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. It was there that he met and married the love of his life, Sherrie Hawk, his true Falcon Flame. Together, they spent the next 55 years building a life filled with love and laughter. They went on countless adventures with family and friends, creating life long memories for his family to cherish. He enjoyed life to the fullest and never missed an opportunity to spend time with his family.
Lou was an avid antique collector, sports car enthusiast, and loved all things Cleveland! Whether he was your Little League coach or enjoyed spending time with you at a show, dinner or happy hour, know that you were an important part of his life. He will be forever a member of the “Thirsty Three” and will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Lou was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He leaves behind to celebrate and carry on his legacy his spouse, Sherrie Trenka of Medina; daughter, Tiffny Trenka (Carl Clapper) of Medina; sons, Whitny (Kim) Trenka of Waterville and Louis (Michelle) Trenka of San Diego, Calif.; grandchildren, Andrew, Benjamin, Julia, William, Ella, Lily and Paige.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis L. and Mary J. Trenka; and siblings, Joyce M. Trenka Springer and Larry J. Trenka.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor at a later time. Until then, all raise a glass and share your stories, wisdom and witty poems. You were one of a kind, CHEERS to 77 SPECTACULAR years!
