Obituary for Lillian R Pikelis

Funeral Mass for Lillian R. (nee Zelazny) Pikelis, 97, of Kirtland, will be 12 noon Thursday, June 2, at Immaculate Conception Church, 37949 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Father Michael Troha will officiate.
Lillian passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
She was born April 2, 1925.
Lillian enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, books on CD, talk radio, and all Cleveland sports teams.
She was the loving mother of Linda S. (Butch) Moats and David M. (Katherine) Pikelis; cherished grandmother of Jason (Danielle) Moats, Theresa (Mark) Guerrieri, Kevin (Cinthia) Moats and Nicole Moats; great-grandmother of Marcus, Alexis, Matthias, Tessa, Vinson, Savannah, Giovanni, Lorenzo, Isaac and ReAnn; dear sister of Edward Zelazny and Frank Zelazny; aunt of nieces and nephews; and also leaves best friend, Dorothy Green and her son, Dan.
Lillian was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George J. Pikelis in 2005; son, George S. Pikelis; parents, Frank and Victoria (née Mozelewski) Zelazny; siblings, Joseph (Helen) Zelazny and Regina (Chester) Mazer; and sister-in-law, Millicent Zelazny.
Family will receive friends from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 2, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will follow the Mass at South Kirtland Cemetery.
