Funeral Mass for Kenneth Joseph Suhay, 75, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, at Sacred Heart Chapel, located in the Center for Pastoral Leadership, 28700 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe.
Ken passed away Aug. 14, 2023, at UH Lake West Hospital in Willoughby.
He was born Aug. 13, 1948, in Cleveland.
Ken was well liked by the community at Borromeo Seminary, where he worked for many years. He was also a fan of sports, and especially loved baseball. Ken enjoyed going for walks in his neighborhood, where he was known for his cheerful and engaging personality.
He was the dear brother of William G. Suhay of San Franciso, Calif.; and cherished friend of Lynda Lindner, Iris and Rob Wagner.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, William J. and Anna (nee Zacek) Suhay, who passed away in childbirth; stepmother, Paula (nee Pustover) Suhay; and friend, Tony Hoste.
Burial will follow the Mass at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
Contributions in his name are suggested to the Special Olympics.
