Kellen grew up in Chesterland, attended Gilmour Academy and graduated in 2010. During his junior and senior years in Columbus, Kellen served as a Constituency Intern at the Ohio House of Representatives under OH State Rep. John Rogers. After college, Kellen spent the last several years working, traveling, and living in different areas of the country and settled on the East Coast in 2019. He was a 2020 alumnus of Herren Wellness in Seekonk, MA and for the last 2½ years considered Rhode Island to be his home. He lived a happy, healthy, grateful life supported and loved by Chris Herren and his many friends within the Herren Wellness Community. Although he lived several states away, Kellen always maintained his Ohio spirit and unfailingly rooted for The Cleveland Browns, The Cavs and The Indians/Guardians and his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes.

Kellen experienced an outpouring of love from his many friends and family members throughout all the seasons of his life and will be missed for his quick-witted humor, his intellect, his giving spirit, his contagious laugh, and his larger-than-life personality.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022, at Our Lady Chapel (Gilmour Academy), 34001 Cedar Rd., Gates Mills, OH 44040.
