“Together Again”
Kathryne L. (nee Jolley) Fiorilli, 88, of Mentor, passed away Monday, Dec. 5, 2022, at Tapestry of Wickliffe.
Born April 10, 1934, in Cleveland, she had lived in Euclid before moving to Lake County eight years ago.
Kathryne was an active member along with her husband of St. Bede the Venerable Church in Mentor and a former member of St. John of the Cross and St. Paschal Baylon. She was an avid fan of the Oakland Raiders, a big fan of Kenny Stabler, loved her cats, and enjoyed being a seamstress.
She was the loving mother of Michael Anthony (Laura Jo) Fiorilli and Patrick John (Cathy) Fiorilli; cherished grandmother of Jennifer Fiorilli, Marissa (Justin) Fiorilli Thernes, Jessica (Andy) Sherman and Olivia (Christopher) Fiorilli Koogler; great-grandmother of Leonardo Sherman, Colton Sherman and Sienna Josette-Rose Thernes; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Kathryne was preceded on death by her beloved husband, John L. Fiorilli in 2017; parents, Edward and Helen (nee Weimer) Jolley; and sister, Mary (Frank, dec.) Fuseck.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2022, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor, with a funeral service at 12 p.m. Burial will follow the service at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
