Funeral Mass for Kathleen Pursch, 77, of Eastlake, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, at St. Justin Martyr Church, 35711 Stevens Blvd., Eastlake.
Kathleen passed away Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024, at UH Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born June 25, 1946, in Cleveland, she had been a lifetime resident of Lake County.
Kathleen loved making wreaths, jewelry and all things crafting. She also loved to gamble and taking cruises.
She was the dearest sister of Judy L. Ponikvar of Eastlake; cherished aunt of Joey Balash, Michael (Tabytha) Balash and Julie (Jamie) Bauer; great-aunt and great-great-aunt of many.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Genevieve (nee Drozin) Pursch; sister, Marianne Balash; and brothers-in-law, Joe Balash and Jack “Porky” Ponikvar.
Family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, 2024, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., in Willoughby. Burial will follow the Mass at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
