Obituary for Karin Lea Lane
Funeral Mass for Karin Lea (nee Lasko) Lane, 61, of Mentor, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at St. Gabriel Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township. Fr. Fred Pausche will officiate.
Karin passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Tripoint Medical Center in Concord Township.
Born April 3, 1962, in Euclid, she had been a lifetime resident of Lake County.
Karin loved her family and took great pride in sheltering and rescuing dogs.
Karin was the beloved wife of 37 years to Keith C. Lane; stepmother of Tony Lane, Jeannie Lane, and David Lane; grandmother of David Lane; loving daughter of Genevieve Ward; sister of Lynn Marie (Don) Balzano and Laura Sue (Alan) Starman; aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Lasko; stepfather, James Ward; and brother, Richard Paul Lasko.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2023, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Avenue, Willoughby. Burial will be at Willoughby Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in her name be made to the Lake County Humane Society, 7564 Tyler Blvd., E., Mentor, OH 44060.
