Obituary for Karen G Lardin
Karen G. (nee Karson) Lardin, 63, of Concord Township, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Vista Springs in Concord Township.
Born June 26, 1956, in Chicago, Ill., she had lived there before moving to Lake County 14 years ago.
Karen was a former member of Friends Church (New Promise), where she was active with the Administrative Council and involved with missionary work. She enjoyed having a good time and skiing with friends.
She was the beloved wife of 14 years to Jim Lardin Sr.; daughter-in-law of Patricia J. Lardin; stepmother of James Lardin Jr.; and dear sister of Roger T. Karson.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore G. and Jean N. (nee Ciaglo) Karson; siblings, Terry Karson, Cathy Karson and Johnny Karson; and father-in-law, Jack Lardin.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor, with a Celebration of Life service at 6:30 p.m. Pastor Mike Currier will officiate. Burial will be in Concord Township Cemetery.
