Obituary for June Walsh
June (nee O’Leary) Walsh, 101, of Mentor, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Winfield at Richmond Heights.
She was born March 25, 1922, in Yakima, Wash.
June was the loving mother of Thomas P. (Joyce) Walsh and Colleen D. Walsh; mother-in-law of Peggy Walsh; and the grandmother and great-grandmother of many.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James P. Walsh in 1999; son, James R. Walsh; daughter, Maureen M. Grubb; grandson, Thomas J. Walsh; granddaughter, Candace Hansen; and parents, William and Cora (nee Clark) Middaugh.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, May 15, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a prayer service at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Mentor Cemetery.
