Obituary for Joycelaine M Ward
Funeral Mass for Joycelaine M. Ward, 75, of Eastlake, will be 1 p.m. Friday at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 32114 Vine St., Willowick. Father Steve Breck will officiate the Mass. (Family and friends are asked to meet at church.)
Joycelaine passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021, at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.
She was born June 5, 1946, in Altoona, Pa.
Joycelaine was a 1965 graduate of Willoughby South High School and a graduate of the Willoughby-Eastlake School of Nursing. She had worked as a nurse until her retirement.
She was the loving daughter of Ed Fowler, and John and Joycelaine (nee Rozansky) Ward; dear sister of Richard (Pat) Ward, Pamela (Larry, dec.) Grinstead, David (Sue) Ward, Dawn Ward and Janet Kelsey; cherished aunt of Kristine Shreves (Larry Jadiych), Kimberly and David Moulton, Steven (Ann Marie) Grinstead, Daniel McCurdy, John and Alana Ward, David and Michelle Grinstead, Casey and Joel Morsem Jesse and Caitlyn Ward, Laura Ward and Jennifer Ward; and aunt of many great-nieces and great-nephews. Joycelaine also leaves her beloved pets, Charlie Cat and Jax.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby. Burial will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
