Obituary for Joyce Marie Sheldon
Joyce Marie Sheldon, 77, of Willoughby, Ohio passed away Jan. 9, 2024, after a brief illness.
She was born Dec. 17, 1946, in Willowick to Richard and Francis Borsh.
She attended North High School in Eastlake, graduating in 1964. Joyce enjoyed bowling, reading and decorating her daughter's home in which she lived.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Borsh of Jacksonville, Fla., and sister, Nancy Leamer of Salina, Kan.
She is survived by her daughter, Valerie (Hill); son, William; grandchildren, Michael Hill (USMC), Andrew Hill (USN), and Nicole Hill; great-grandson, Jackson Talbot; twin sister, Joan Muni, and younger sister, Judy Holmes (Charlie).
A memorial visitation will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life at 3:30 p.m.
As a breast cancer survivor, she had instructed that any donations be directed to the American Cancer Society in her name.
