Obituary for Jerry L Bowen

Jerry L. Bowen, 85, of Painesville Township, passed away Monday, Aug. 21, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born July 11, 1938, in Cleveland.
Jerry was an avid antique car collector and an extreme hobbyist of all time pieces, bred draft horses and built a log cabin house in Leroy Township with his son-in-law, Jeffrey. He was a master story teller and the family historian.
Mr. Bowen had worked as a milkman for Meyer Dairy and was the owner of an Open Pantry Store.
Jerry was the loving father of Sherri (Jeff) DiGeronimo; cherished grandfather of Sara (Michael) Grano and Sam (Melissa) DiGeronimo; great-grandfather of Severino and Sebastian; dear brother of Dave (Sally) Bowen, Jeff (Kathy) Bowen and Cindy (Jim) Bush; and uncle of nieces and nephews. He also leaves his faithful dog, Desi.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pamela L. (nee Bishop) Bowen; infant daughter, Rena Bowen; great-grandson, Gabriel; and parents, Earl and Genevieve (nee Schultz) Bowen.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life service at 7 p.m. Pastor Mike Currier will officiate. Burial will be private.
