Obituary for Janet Mae Pavlisin

Janet Mae Pavlisin passed away March 20, 2024, at her home in Concord Township, surrounded by family and her loving dog, Ginger. She was 83 years old.
Janet was born June 1, 1940, in Cleveland, to late Milton and Twyla (nee Binnig) Ostrander.
Janet was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 60 years. She loved creation and spent much of her free time gardening. Janet was a loving caretaker and enjoyed spending time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Janet was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 wonderful years, Richard, whom she married Feb. 14, 1959; dear son, Richie Pavilsin; and sister, Joan Ostrander.
She is survived by her children, Tammy (Bob) Busek, Milton (Kim) Pavlisin and Scott (Karen) Pavlisin; seven grandchildren, Lauren, Halle, Kristen (Josh), Bobby (Aislynn), Dylan (Hannah) Devin and Maia; and six great-grandchildren, Josh, Gianna, Mykayla, Michael, Mark and Oakleigh.
Janet will be dearly missed and remembered as being a loving mother, and a kind, and compassionate caregiver.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor, with a memorial talk at 7:30 p.m.
