Obituary for Jacqueline M Darcy
Jacqueline M. (nee Elie) Darcy, 94, of Concord Township, passed away Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023, at Brookdale of Mentor.
She was born Aug. 14, 1928, in Chateaudun, France.
Jacqueline loved music, craft work, and was huge gardener. But most of all, she loved her home.
She was the loving mother of Alain (Jayne) Darcy and Eric Darcy (Wendy Reiner); cherished grandmother of Nathan Heerdt, David Heerdt and Jessica Scott; and great-grandmother of Jackson Scott.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank P. Darcy in 2020; parents, George and Marie (nee Groussard) Elie; brothers, Andre Elie and Robert Elie; and sister, Margarette (nee Elie) Boal.
Family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. A graveside service will take place 12:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township. (Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.)
