Obituary for Ercole Serafino
Funeral Mass for Ercole Serafino, 72, of Euclid, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022, at St. John of the Cross Church, 140 Richmond Road, Euclid.
Ercole passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
He was born April 11, 1950, in Montecalvo, Irpino Italy.
Ercole was an avid hunter and enjoyed gardening and Bocce. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and always enjoyed the company of his many friends.
Mr. Serafino worked in waterproofing and landscaping.
Ercole was the father-in-law of Eric Dunlap; cherished grandfather of Angelo, Gianni, Kali, Logan, Kenna, Lily, Zoey, Alyssa and Alexis; siblings, Carla Serafino and Faustina Serafino; nieces and nephew, Michael (Alaina) Silvestrini, Nicolina (Dennis) Powers and Amanda (Mike) Warren Tuyakova; and many other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elena Serafino; children, Annalisa Dunlap, Antonio Serafino and Paula Serafino (infant); parents, Angelo and Anna (nee Arietta) Serafino; and brother, Antonio Serafino.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will follow the Mass at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
