Obituary for Elaine R Bilovocky
Elaine R. (nee Rice) Bilovocky, 76, of Lorain, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2023, at her home.
Born Sept. 15, 1947, in Akron, she had lived in Vermillion and North Ridgeville before moving to Lorain 33 years ago.
Elaine was a member of the Cleveland Zoological Society and the Wilderness Society. She was a longtime Cleveland sports fan, an animal lover, and loved anything to do with music from Neil Diamond to Garth Brooks to Lady Gaga.
She was the beloved wife of Robert S. Bilovocky; loving mother of Cheri (Paul) Lavrich of Mentor, Jennifer (Rick) McCarthy of Delaware, Ohio, Robert Bilovocky of California, and Natalie (David) Cherosky of Chester Township; cherished grandmother of Donald, Aurora and Daniel Lavrich, Mark, Luke and Alexia McCarthy, Cami and Chloe Cherosky, Ashley and Joseph Bilovocky; dear sister of Norma (Carl) Boltz; and aunt of Tom, Bill and Jim Boltz.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Florence Rice; brother, Fred Rice; and niece, Gloria (nee Hornbeck) Cox.
Family and friends will gather for a memorial luncheon from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, at Ragan Hall, 1783 Moore Road, Avon, OH 44011.
