Obituary for Dwain Edwin Yax
Funeral Mass for Dwain E. Yax, 66, of Thompson, will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Gabriel Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township.
Dwain passed away Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022, at Geauga Medical Center in Chardon.
He was born Aug. 24, 1955, in Cleveland.
Dwain liked to play the guitar and listen to music with friends.
He was the beloved husband of 23 years to Patricia A. (nee Sewalish) Yax; loving father of Carl Yax and Brian Yax; brother of Darlene Yax (Dave Hutcheson); and uncle of nieces.
Dwain was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ruby (nee Wright) Yax.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
