Obituary for Doris M Vehar
Doris M. (nee Stoiker) Vehar, 95, of Mentor, passed away Friday, June 2, 2023, at Care Core of Mentor.
Born Feb. 23, 1928, in Cleveland, she had lived in Mayfield Heights before moving to Lake County 55 years ago.
She was an avid traveler, enjoyed polka music, and was known for waving at the school bus.
Doris was employed at Addressograph-Multigraph for 20 years.
She was the loving mother of Scott (Sheri); and cherished grandmother of Marissa and Alyssa.
Doris was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hank Vehar; and parents, Frank and Annette (nee Borsuk) Stoiker.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.
