Obituary for Donna R McLaughlin
Donna R. (nee Sharp) McLaughlin, 83, of Willoughby, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Cardinal Woods Nursing Facility in Madison.
She was born April 13, 1939, in Cleveland.
Donna was a member of the Willoughby Lions Club Willoughby Ladies Women’s Club and the F.O.P.A. #69, where she was the first lady member and very proud of that honor. She also loved crafts and animals. For 17 years, she helped her husband, Ron “Santa Claus” McLaughlin as “Mrs. Claus,” and enjoyed making children happy.
She was the loving mother of George R. (Tammy) McLaughlin, Renee G. Molnar, Rhonda L. (Eric) Dulaney and Robin M. (Andrew) Winzer; cherished grandmother of Dallas, Dana, Megan, Rachele, Jacob, Becca, Logan and Sydney; and great-grandmother of Kiera, Kaelyn, Maria, Rosa, Cece, Greyson, Lucas and Tiberius.
Donna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald G. McLaughlin in 2018; and parents, Raymond S. and Phoebe J. (nee Vaughn) Sharp.
A Celebration of Life will take place from 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at 7275 Bauer Lane, Mentor.
