Obituary for Debbie A Galasky

Funeral Mass for Debbie A. (nee Riggar) Galasky, 66, of Cleveland, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Church, 15519 Holmes Ave., Cleveland. Fr. John Kumse will officiate.
Debbie passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at University Hospital in Cleveland.
She was born Feb. 7, 1956, in Uniontown, Pa.
Debbie had worked as a server at the Clifton Club from 1981 to 1999 and was a member of the Slovenian Society of Euclid, where she had worked as a bartender at Recher Hall from 1999 to 2009. Debbie was a current employee at Recher Hall, returning in 2014.
She loved bowling, crocheting, traveling with friends and vacationing, especially to Las Vegas.
Debbie was the loving mother of Timothy Galasky and Thomas Galasky (Vickie Linek); mother-in-law of Megan Galasky; cherished grandmother of Madison and Maggie; sister-in-law of Debbie Riggar; and cousin of Phyllis Sayers, Nancy Yost and Tina Wolford.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Blair T. Galasky in 2011; infant daughter, Amy Galasky; parents, Roy and Nancy (nee Donley) Riggar; and siblings, Brenda Riggar and Roy Riggar.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held following the burial at Recher Hall in Euclid.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in the name of her husband, Blair Galasky are suggested to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
