Services for Charles T. McHugh, 84, of Eastlake, will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 9, 2021, at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, 11521 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. (Family and friends are asked to please meet in the Mausoleum at the cemetery.)
Charles passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Continuing Healthcare in Mentor.
Born Dec. 29, 1936, in Cleveland, he had been a resident of Lake County for 58 years.
Charles was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post 1500 in Willoughby and member of Palmer-Roberts American Legion Post 214 in Willoughby. He was also a member of the Elks and enjoyed golf, fishing and woodworking.
He was the beloved husband of 60 years to Diane N. (nee Shaheen) McHugh; loving father of Michael P. (Diane) McHugh; cherished grandfather of Tyler M. (Danny) McHugh; and brother-in-law of Anthony Pilla.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Evelyn (nee Pardee) McHugh; and sister, Patricia Pilla.
