Charles F. London, 87, of Willoughby, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023, at Mapleridge Assisted Living in Willoughby.
Born May 30, 1936, in Arlington, Mass., he had been a resident of Lake County for the past 55 years.
Charles loved playing and coaching hockey and fishing, but most of all playing golf.
He was the loving father of Michael C. (Christine) London of Mentor and Scott R. (Carol) London of Amherst; cherished grandfather of Amanda, Matthew, Grace, Jonathan, Ethan and Ashley; great-grandfather of Liam, Jack, Lily and Levi; dear brother of Verna Baxter; and dear uncle of Russ, Karen and Adam.
Charles was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Rae (nee Schambach) London; son, Jeffrey K. London in 2019; and parents, Cecil Orlando and Edith Pearl (nee Biddiscombe) London.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 27, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life at 7:30 p.m. Burial will 10 a.m. Friday at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township. (Family and friends are asked to please meet at the cemetery.)
