Funeral services for Carole JoAnn Chapline, 84, of Mentor, will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Avenue, Willoughby.
Carole passed away Friday, May 19, 2023, at Legacy of Willoughby, Willoughby.
She was born April 10, 1939, in Wheeling, W.Va.
Carole was an advocate of the Lake County Republican Party, a caregiver for several prominent Lake County residents, and was a longtime Cleveland sports fan.
Carole was the loving mother of Mark J. (Margaret) Chapline of Painesville Township, Jeffrey L. Chapline of Fairview Park, and Mitchell (Colleen) Chapline of North Carolina; beloved grandmother of Robert, Sarah, Craig, Scott, and Jeremy; great-grandmother of Ayden and Algevon; dear sister of Joseph Sebock and Frank Sebock; and dear friend of Terry Crockett.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert L. Chapline, in 1987; and son, Greg Chapline.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2023, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Avenue (located on the grounds of the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home) in Willoughby. Burial will follow the funeral service at Mentor Cemetery in Mentor.
