Funeral Mass for Carol A. (nee Oznowich) Walczak, 74, of Mentor, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Fr. Lou Thomas will officiate. (Family and friends are asked to please meet at church.)
Carol passed away Friday, Sept. 16, 2022, at her residence.
Born March 29, 1948, in Chardon, she had lived in Euclid before moving to Lake County 12 years ago.
Carol loved gardening and was happiest in the garden. She also enjoyed cooking.
She was the loving mother of Philip S. (Lee) Walczak and Bryan C. Walczak; cherished grandmother of Jacob, Christopher, Abigale and Logan; great-grandmother of Christian and Cassidy; sister of Steve (Annamarie) Oznowich and John Oznowich; and aunt of Steven (Kellie) and Stephanie (Nick).
Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Philip D. Walczak in 2020; and parents, Steve and Nellie (nee Demeduk) Oznowich.
Burial will follow the Mass at Mentor Cemetery.
