A Liturgy of the Word Service for Brian Patrick McCauley, 43, of Cleveland, will be 12 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor. Father Tom Sweany will officiate.
Brian passed away July 25, 2023, in Cleveland.
Born April 21, 1980, in Euclid, he had been a lifetime resident of Cuyahoga County.
He enjoyed music and skateboarding, and loved snowboarding and traveling.
Brian was the loving father of Evan Kelley and Ella Kelley; dear son of Thomas F. (Maureen) McCauley of Solon; cherished brother of Matthew (Nancy) McCauley of Chardon, Bridget Fatica of Willoughby, Colin McCauley of Chicago and Caitlin (Pete) Granger of Akron; stepbrother of Bob Carroll of North Olmsted and Nicole (Justin) Scribner of Austin, Texas; and uncle of Mary, Tommy, Lanila and Oliver.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Lonnie M. (nee Davis) McCauley.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday, Aug. 2, at the church. Burial will be private.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
