Obituary for Betty J "Trixee" Moran
Betty J. “Trixee” (nee Bambick) Moran, 85, of Lakeline, passed away Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022, at UH Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born Sept. 7, 1937, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Lake County since 1966.
Betty was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving from 1956 to 1958. She was also a member of the Eastlake and Willowick Senior Centers.
She had worked for the Euclid Police Department as a school crossing guard.
Betty was the loving mother of Patrick Moran, Michelle Moran (Lino DeSapri), and Mardee (Joseph) Ciresi; cherished grandmother of Reilly Ciresi, Zack Mako, Joey Nero and Angelo Nero; dear sister of Janice Harrison and Sally Deakyne; and aunt of many.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Nero; parents, Frank and Margaret (nee Greer) Bambick; and sister, Peggy Bliss.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life service at 5:30 p.m. Private burial will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
