Obituary for Barbara E Green
Barbara E. (nee Hyland) Green, 70, of Eastlake, passed away Monday, Aug. 30, 2021, at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born April 2, 1951, in Cleveland, she had been a lifetime Lake County resident.
Family was very important to her. She loved to garden and spend time with her cat, Lilly.
Barbara’s lifelong career was as a nurse and she had worked for many years at Breckenridge Village in Willoughby.
She was the loving mother of Bridget A. (Matt) Hanna and Thomas J. (Kim) Green; cherished grandmother of Connor, Hannah and Hailey; dear sister of Kathy (Gary) Skiba, Joyce (Tom) Sliwinski, Carole (John) Lanning and Mary Ellen “Elly” (Mike) Wiley; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas J. and Evelyn M. (nee Consydes) Hyland; and siblings, Maureen (Doug, dec.) Boggs and Thomas Hyland.
A Mass for family and friends will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
