Obituary for Baba G Pawar
Baba G. Pawar, 89, of Willoughby Hills, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Parker Place Senior Living in Mentor.
Born Oct. 21, 1932, in India, he had been a resident of Lake County for 55 years, living in Willoughby Hills.
Baba was physician and in his later years of his career, he gave free medical care at St. Augustine Church in Tremont.
He loved his grandchildren immensely and enjoyed taking care of his plants.
Baba was the loving father of Jay C. Pawar, David K. (Peggy) Pawar, Sheela L. (Gary Thomas) Pawar and Chris K. Pawar; cherished grandfather of Deanna, David, Kaleigh, Matthew, Patrick, Christian, Maggie and Danny; great-grandfather of Hugo, Margot and Sebastian; dear brother of eight; and uncle of many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Govindrao and Sonubai Pawar.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life service at 11:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name are suggested to St. Augustine Church, 2486 W. 14th St., Cleveland, OH 44113.
