Celebration of Life service for Karen M. Koziol (nee Hanratty), 66, of Eastlake will be 5:30 p.m. Sunday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave., Willoughby (on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home).
Karen passed away Tuesday, Apr. 4, 2017 at The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland.
Born Sept. 3, 1950 in Cleveland, she was a lifetime resident of Lake County living in Willoughby and Eastlake.
Karen was the loving mother of Kenneth J. (Laura) Buckley, Suzanne M. Smart (husband, Kirk Ramanauskas), Thomas E. (Meghan) Koziol and Stephen A. Koziol; cherished grandmother of Elijah, Timothy, Zachary, Hayden, Ian and Emily; step daughter of Aura Lee Hanratty; sister of Kevin Hanratty, Shawn Hanratty, Donald (Tiffany) Hanratty; sister-in-law of Christine Hanratty; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Anna (nee Retych) Hanratty and brother, Robert Hanratty.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at The Abbey. Burial will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
