- Funeral services for Shirley A. (Renner) Mausar, 82, of Willoughby, will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Mrs. Mausar passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010, at The Cleveland Clinic. Born July 21, 1927, in Dover, she was a Lake County resident for 25 years, living in Collinwood before moving to Willoughby. Shirley enjoyed reading and visiting casinos. She was very devoted to her family and loved being with her children and grandchildren. She was the loving mother of Jeffrey H. (Janet) Mausar of Brunswick, Paula A. Mausar of Willoughby, Diane M. (Gerald) Hurd of Orange Village, Bennett J. (Tracy) Mausar of Cleveland and Laura L. Mausar of Brunswick; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony S. "Ben" Mausar in 1999; and son, Marc A. Mausar in 1977. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Robert A. Gaston will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery in Euclid.

- Dear Mausar Family, I just wanted to offer my sincere condolences for your loss. Although this is a very difficult time may you find solace and peace in the loving arms of family and friends. I have also found the following passages to be very comforting; John 5:28,29 which speaks of the resurrection hope as well as Rev. 21:4 where God promises to do away with all the things that cause us suffering and pain including death forever.
