- Funeral services for Ardell M. (Martin) Kent, 86, of Chester Township, will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 11900 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church. Mrs. Kent passed away Friday, July 2, 2010, at her residence in Chester Township. Born May 12, 1924, in Cleveland, she was a Geauga County resident for 53 years, living in Chester Township. Ardell was an active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church for 48 years. She was the loving mother of William E. Kent of Newbury and Robert A. Kent of Chester Township and aunt of Geoffrey (Marilyn) Kent, Terry (Debbie) Kent, Karin Kent, William Martin and Bruce Martin. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward J. Kent, in 1997, and brother, Kenneth Martin. Burial will be at Acacia Masonic Memorial Park in Mayfield Heights. Donations in her name may be made to Hospice House of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th St., Cleveland, OH 44119. Arrangements were entrusted to the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes of Willoughby and Mentor.
