- Barb was one of my favorite teachers at Edison Elementary School where we worked together for a few years. She was very welcoming when I first came to Edison. As I got to know her, I saw that she was a very unique person. Her sense of humor was amazing. She made me laugh every day! Our personalities clashed a little bit, but she was a wonderful person and friend. When she invited me to your annual breakfast in August, I knew that we were good friends. I missed her when she retired because that group of teachers that I started with at Edison were all retiring and that group was a good group of people. When they left, the humor and atmosphere changed at Edison and I missed them. Barb loved her family and her family was very important to her. Well, you are probably making the heavens laugh. And now instead of dancing in front of your picture window for a snow day, you will be up there controlling the weather! Good-bye Barb, You will be missed for a very, very long time.
