- Mass of Christian Burial for Karen J. (nee Marando) (Lowe) D'Anna, age 44, a 10-year Mentor resident and formerly of Euclid, will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 9114 Lakeshore Blvd., Mentor. Mrs. D'Anna passed away March 3, 2010, at Hospice House in Cleveland. She was born Sept. 10, 1965, in Du Bois, Pa. She was the beloved wife of Thomas J. D'Anna; loving mother of Katie Lowe of Mentor, Dominic, and Ryan D'Anna of Mentor; cherished daughter of Rose (Arlie) Frizzell of Du Boise, Pa.; dear sister of Tom Marando of California, Jeff Marando of Euclid and Teri (Frank) Prezelj of Sheffield Lake; loving granddaughter of Twila Allen; sister-in-law of Bill and (Diane) D'Anna, Leslie D'Anna, Laura (Mike) Milite, Eileen D'Anna, Meg (Tim) Tichenor and Tim (Beth) D'Anna; and loving aunt, niece, and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, James Allen; in-laws, Marjorie (Armand) D'Anna; and sister-in-law, Kathleen Luzny. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St., (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.

- My wife(Margie) and I only met Karen and her daughter once when they helped cater a reunion for her Mother Rose in Dubois that we attended. God Bless and our prayers are with the fammily during this sad time.
