Eugenia L. “Jean” Mullally, born April 3, 1921, (4-3-21) in Cleveland Heights, was the youngest child of Ben and Julia Brugge, and lived most of her life in Mayfield Heights.
She entered into rest Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008.
She was married 37 years to John M. “Jack” Mullally, who precedes her in death.
She was the loving mother to Myra Ann Juth of South Euclid, Sheila Louise (Pete) Randel of Mentor-on-the-Lake, and Mary Therese “Terry” of Euclid; grandmother to John (Kristen) Juth, Kelli Juth, Colleen Juth, Erin Randel (Timothy Robertson), Molly (Chris) Smith and Brenna Jean Randel (Gavin Glover); and great-grandmother to Mary Sinead, Deirdre Robertson and Carter James Smith.
Jean was a bookkeeper for many years and was a stay-at-home mother. In retirement, she enjoyed camping, bowling, telling family stories, and her involvement with the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and ‘Golden Shamrocks” of the Irish American Club-East Side. She was a graduate of St. Ann’s School in Cleveland Heights and attended reunions faithfully. She had a special devotion to the Blessed Mother and to St. Therese of Lisieux, The Little Flower of Jesus.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor. Father Thomas Johns will officiate the Mass. Burial will be in Whitehaven Cemetery in Mayfield.

Funeral service for Daniel J. Lucas, age 66, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor.
Mr. Lucas died unexpectedly Aug. 30, 2008, at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights.
He was born Dec. 23, 1941, in Cleveland.
After retiring with 42 years of dedicated service as Director of Manufacturing with a Willoughby company, he was a certified golf instructor with the United States Golf Teacher’s Association. Golf was his greatest passion and he especially enjoyed working with novice golf students.
He was the husband of Carol A. Lucas (nee Cavanaugh); loving father of Daniel J. (fiancee, Mandy) Lucas Jr. of Youngstown, Michael Sherwood of Willowick and Kristen (Leroy) Schaef of Eastlake; grandfather of Julia, Abby, Danielle, Joseph, Sydney and Alex; and brother of Linda Lucas of Pennsylvania and James (Kathy) Lucas of Georgia.
He was the son of the late Ignatius and Estelle Lucas (nee Dragon).
Friends may call 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.

Funeral Mass for Thomas P. Boschi age 72, of Euclid, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Church, 19951 Lake Shore Blvd., Euclid.
Mr. Boschi died Friday, Aug. 29, 2008, at Manor Care Nursing Facility in Willoughby.
Born Dec. 12, 1935, in Republic, Pa., he lived in Euclid for 34 years.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving from 1953 to 1956. He was a member of Holy Cross Church in Euclid, a member of A.T.S.C.M.E. Chapter 1184 and a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers 586. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Mr. Bosch was a stationary engineer for Cuyahoga County, retiring in 2001.
He was the beloved husband of Rosemary B. Boschi (nee Windram); loving father of Thomas M. (Beverly) Boschi of Baltimore, Md. and Katherine A. Boschi of Willoughby; dear grandfather of Michael and Brianna; and brother of Joseph George Boschi of Austinburg, Richard C. Boschi of Euclid and Montana Jasiul of Boston, Mass. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was the cherished son of the late Armando and Elena Boschi (nee Colaiuta).

Mrs. Overall died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, at Euclid Hospital in Euclid.
Born July 21, 1924, in Wickliffe, she was a Lake County resident for 31 years.
She was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, serving during World War II. She donated blood to the American Red Cross. She loved her family and always loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her leisure time she enjoyed ceramics.
Mrs. Overall retired from Santa Barbara County Hospital in California and from Bard Industries in Mentor.
She was the loving mother of Wesley R. (Pok Im) Overall of Painesville Township, Susan K. (Richard) Ernst of Mentor-on-the-Lake, and June A. Carrick of Mentor on the Lake; grandmother of Shannon W. (Danielle) Overall, Crystal L. (Dave) Manus and Wesley S. (Treva) Overall; and great-grandmother of Nikki, Zak, Cheyenne, Autumn, Sara, Abby, Payton and Wesley.
She was the beloved wife of the late Wesley G. Overall, who died in 2007. Her daughter, Beverly M. Savoca; sons-in-law, Joseph Savoca and James Carrick; and siblings, Ansel C. Adams Jr. and Dorothy Rockow, are also deceased.

Landyn went home to be with the Angels in Heaven Aug. 27, 2008.
“We both love Landyn dearly and did all we could to take care of him since the first moment of the pregnancy. We knew Landyn was with us since day one and will continue to be with us till we join him in Heaven. We both had a wonderful, moving experience from this and realize this is what God wants. At least now he is safe and we don’t have to worry any longer. Landyn is in our prayers and we are so grateful of everyone else’s, they will make us stronger.”

Mrs. Kovalick died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, at Euclid Hospital.
Born July 28, 1929, in East Cleveland, she had been a Lake County resident for the past 52 years living in Wickliffe.
Gerrie was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Wickliffe. This Cleveland East High graduate and local Tribe fan would stop at League Park on her way home from school, peak through the center field fence and watch legends like Bob Feller play ball. In those days, while maintaining good grades, she made time to volunteer to read to the blind.
On Nov. 25, 1950, the “Blizzard Bride,” trudged through the snowstorm of the century along with the late, great Ed Kovalick to kick-off 43 and half years of faithful marriage.
Further along her journey, the stalwart bowler worked her way into the Lake-Geauga Women’s Association Hall of Fame. This NBC certified bowling instructor would be spearhead to the crusade that landed the 1984 Women’s State Tournament “By the Shore in ‘84.”

She was the loving mother of Edward J. Kovalick of Wickliffe and Matthew J. (Jean) Kovalick of Chester Township; grandmother of Joseph M. Kovalick, Mark E. Kovalick and James A. Kovalick; and sister of Isabelle Andruscik Ochsner of Westlake.

Funeral Mass for the Rev. Fr. Kenneth F. Wise, 86, of Euclid, formerly of Dennison, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Cross Church, 19951 Lake Shore Blvd., Euclid. Rev. Wise formerly served as pastor at the Immaculate Conception Church in Dennison.
Rev. Wise died Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, at Mount St. Joseph Nursing Facility in Euclid.
He was born April 17, 1922, in Cleveland, and was the loving son of the late Frank and Catherine (nee) Carroll) Wise.
Father Kenneth Wise was ordained into the priesthood on May 31, 1947, by Bishop Michael Ready in Columbus. He was a priest in the Columbus Diocese. Father Wise was director of the Cursillo and formerly served at St. Mary Magdalene, Holy Family and St. Augustine parishes in Columbus. He served as administrator of St. Luke’s Parish in Danville, was pastor of Waverly St. Mary’s Parish, pastor of Sugar Grove St. Joseph Parish and chaplain of Fairfield School for Boys in 1960.
He was the dear brother of Ruth M. (Jack) O’Malley of Euclid; and beloved uncle of Marianne (Mike) Lorenzo of Mentor, Shawn P. (Denise) O’Malley of Monroe Falls, Colleen C. (Bill) Frank of Eastlake, Erin M. (John) Hruby of Bedford, Molly (Joe Fergus) O’Malley of Euclid and Megan M. (John) Dea of Macedonia; great-uncle of 15; and great-great-uncle of three.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Gloria J. O’Brien

Charles was retired from Local 18 Operating Engineers.
He was the beloved husband of Ruth (nee Banker) Bailey; loving father of Carol DiPaola of Willoughby and Melanie (Jeff) Bailey of Mentor-on-the-Lake; grandfather of Tristan Bailey, Astian Plummer, Tayler Plummer, Shane Cover and Nevaeh Cover; loving son of Loretta E. Bailey Campbell of Madison; and brother of Glenn (Naomi) Bailey of Madison, Mildred Bailey of Madison and Nancy (Fred) Mason of Perry.

Born May 22, 1984, in Painesville, she had been a lifetime resident of Lake County.
She was a 2002 graduate of Mentor High School in early childhood education. She liked music, dancing and singing. She was also a Clay Aiken fan.
Tiffany worked at a teacher in day care. She loved children and her children loved her.
She was the beloved daughter of Jeffrey M. and Cindy (nee Krobusek) Torosian; loving sister of Ashley M. Torosian and Tyler J. Torosian; paternal granddaughter of Seon Torosian of Florida; beloved great-niece of Lenore DuBois of Sacramento, Calif.; beloved niece of Frank (GiGi) Krobusek of Pflugerville, Texas, Joseph (Carol) Krobusek of Austin, Texas, and Karla Lemon of West Virginia; and cousin of Bryan Lemon of West Virginia. She is also survived by her best friends, Meghan Biro, Christina Cale and Jeremy Froelicher; her �bestest� friend (like two peas in a pod), Amy �Little Amo� Grady; and her dog, Demon.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Elaine A. (nee Tuttle) Torosian; and maternal grandparents, Eugene F. and Phyllis (nee DeCesare) Krobusek.

He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi, American Legion, 49th Fighter Group Association, American Dance Exchange and a former member of Irish American Club East Side Inc., in Euclid. He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran, serving during World War II and a Ham radio operator with the handle KC8KKN. He was a part-time volunteer weatherman at WKHR 91.5 in Chagrin Falls. He had a love of dancing and enjoyed being a dancing contestant in a San Francisco, Calif., dance contest.
He was the loving father of Bill (Nancy) Powell of South Euclid and Maureen (Michael) Rene of Sante Fe, N.M.; grandfather of Joseph Powell and Douglas Powell; brother of Kay Marino (Jerry) Richart of Carpinteria, Calif., Lois (Bill) Reulbach of Westlake, and Jerry (Mary Ann) Powell of Mentor; and nieces and nephews.
He was the beloved husband of the late Eileen M. (nee Gavin) Powell, who passed away in 2004; and brother of the late Whitney Powell and the late Jeanne Eckhoff.

Funeral services for William J. �Dude� Kessler, 65, of Willowick, will be noon Saturday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Mr. Kessler died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008, at his residence.
Born March 23, 1943, in Cleveland, he had lived in Cleveland and Euclid before moving to Lake County 35 years ago, living in Willowick.
He was a member of YASCO of Willowick, Lithuanian Club, and Local 880. He loved his grandchildren, especially when he had to babysit. He enjoyed going to Las Vegas and was an excellent beer connoisseur. He also was an avid sports fan, enjoying all the Cleveland sports teams.
Mr. Kessler was retired from Giant Eagle, having worked at the Painesville store.
He was the beloved husband of 42 years of Nicole M. (nee Wohlgemuth) Kessler, whom he married Oct. 1, 1966; loving father of Scott W. (Angel) Kessler of Willowick and Kristie L. Nish of Willowick; grandfather of Anthony Nish, Gabriel Nish, and Timothy Koziol; brother of Patricia Healey of Euclid and Kenneth (Karen) Kessler of Rocky River; brother-in-law of Joyce (William) Cothey of Mentor; and uncle of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a very close group of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William J. and Margaret E. (nee Wies) Kessler; brother-in-law, Ed Healey; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Marie (nee Benes) and Albert Wohlgemuth.

Born Feb. 1, 1912, in Cleveland, she had been a Lake County resident for 45 years, living in Eastlake.
Lois was a member of St. Justin Martyr Church in Eastlake, Eastlake J.F.K. Senior Citizens Center, where she enjoyed ceramics, Willowick Senior Center and Al Anon. She was a lifetime member of TOPS and KOPS. Lois graduated in 1928, from St. Francis School and enjoyed family vacations at Atwood Lake and Indian Lake Camp Grounds.
Mrs. Bea retired from Woolworth’s at Shoregate in Willowick, where she had worked as a sales clerk.
She was the loving mother of Karen J. Weaver of Troy; mother-in-law of David E. Weaver of Troy and Kathryn Ann Bea of Mentor; grandmother of Robert J. Bea Jr., of Chicago, Dr. Scott (Barbara) Bea of Lakewood, and Janelle Weaver Rhoades of Piqua; and great-grandmother of Alexandra Bea, at Kent State University in Kent, and Meredith Bea of Lakewood.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John J. Bea; children, Robert J. Bea and Charlene J. Bea; and parents, Ferdinand O. and Marie (nee Roedig) Kindley.

Mr. Pikus was a veteran of the Cleveland Police Department, who was on disability.

In 1967, Ciro married the love of his life Lorraine; daughter of Albert and Josephine Giammaria. After settling down in Mayfield Heights, Ciro and Lorraine decided to start a family of their own. In 1969, Ciro and Lorraine welcomed their first child, Anthony followed by Shari, and Ciro Jr. In 1974, after relocating to Willoughby, Ciro and Lorraine welcomed their fourth child, Nicholas into the family.
With the guidance and support of their loving family, Ciro with Lorraine by his side, founded what is known today as Ciro’s Sewer Cleaning, Incorporated. Ciro has the foresight to create a company that would pride itself on integrity and dependability above all else; a company that would provide its clients and employees with security and peace of mind. Ciro’s vision lives today in its second generation under watchful eyes of his three sons.

Ronald Anthony Micale, 71, passed away Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008, at home after fight cancer since April of this year.
Ron was born in 1936, in Cleveland and graduated from Collinwood High School, served in the U.S. Army and resided in Euclid and Mentor for 45 years.
He owned and operated Master Grinding Company in Wickliffe until his retirement at age 60.
Survivors are his wife, Rose Marie (nee Sercel); daughters, Diane Grogan, Marcia (Bill) Snyder, and Michelle (Arthur) Gugick; grandchildren, Carli Snyder, Johnny and Jimmy Grogan and Benjamin and Jason Gugick; and sisters, Josephine D’Amore and Carmela Haase.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul and Dominic; and sister, Mary Formica.

Funeral Mass for William B. Hinske, 76, of Willoughby, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Mr. Hinske died Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at LakeWest Hospital in Willoughby.
Born April 8, 1932, in Cleveland, he had been a Lake County resident for 42 years, living in Willoughby.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Willoughby, and a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War. He loved and enjoyed woodworking and being out in his yard.
Mr. Hinske was a retired salesman. He had worked for K&B Lincoln Mercury for 15 years. He was very active in retirement being involved for 14 years at the Willoughby Market. He was the proprietor of Bill's Bird Houses & Feeders.
He was the beloved husband of Roseann (nee Paul) Hinske; loving father of Cynthia M. (Benjamin) Hinske of Willoughby Hills and Sharon A. (Raymond) Disantis of Willoughby Hills; grandfather of Charles Disantis, Alicia Disantis, Vincent Disantis and Amanda Johnston; brother of Betty (Pierre) Dispennette of Virginia Beach, Va., and Thomas (Barbara) Hinske of Charleston, S.C.; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, John Hinske.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving with the Navy Seabees and completing three tours of duty in Vietnam. He was a member of the Disabled American veterans (D.A.V.), meeting at the Marine Corps League Gunny's Hall in Mentor. He was also a member of the Seabees Veteran's Club. He enjoyed target practice and loved to cook.
Mr. Ebert was a housing inspector/general contractor, qualified Radon inspector and house remodeler. He was also a part-time Willoughby Police Special for more than 10 years.
He was the brother of Marian Lovell of Port Angeles, Wash., and Barbara (Howard) Rupnow of Mentor; brother-in-law of Esther Ebert of Amherst; uncle and great-uncle of many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; and friend of Dennis and Sue Corbett, Patti Wachic, Tom and Sandy Nedley, Larry Guk, Ken and Laura Lupica-Seketa and Josephine Lupica. He also leaves his faithful pet and companion, Maggie.

He had a great sense of humor, loved reading about the history of just about everything, loved watching good movies, and was a very knowledgeable person about sports, movies and music. He also enjoyed fantasy baseball and time with some special close friends. He was a strong willed, hard working person, that fought a hard battle to the end.
Mr. Lechelt worked as a clerk at the Wickliffe Post Office for most of his 30 years with the United States Postal System. He served as president of the American Postal Workers Union for almost 25 years.
He was the beloved husband of 22 years to Jackie (nee Skelly) Lechelt; loving father of Robert W. Lechelt and Amber N. Lechelt, both at home in Mentor; and brother of Diann (Richard) Hartman of Hinckley and Kevin (Suzie Nicholas) Lechelt of Brunswick Hills.

Born Feb. 6, 1919, in Findlay, she had taught for 28 years in Michigan prior to moving to the Cleveland area in 1965.
Dr. Urschalitz was a professor in the psychology department at Marygrove College in Detroit, Mich. She laster worked as a clinical psychologist at Wade Park Veterans Hospital in Cleveland and finally served as a community services specialist at Lake County Mental Health Center in Mentor. In 1987, Dorothy retired from the Center, but continued to counsel a few clients.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Anna (nee Fornes) Urschalitz; brothers, Paul Urschalitz and Vincent Urschalitz; and sisters, Ruth Fetzer and Rachel Urschalitz.

He was an avid biker and loved ice skating and sailing. He enjoyed volunteering with Meals on Wheels and was a Catholic Big Brother.
Mr. Spencer was employed by Ohio Bell Telephone, retiring as a supervisor in 1982 after 44 years of service, and was a member of the Ohio Bell Pioneers.

Rosemary was a mom, grandma and friend to many.
She was the loving mother of Donna L. Bildstein of Mentor, John C. (Vickie) Novince of Medina, Charles E. (Rosemary) Novince Jr. of Sagamore Hills, Greg F. Novince of Willoughby and Carol A. (Jerald) Camloh of Willowick; cherished grandmother of 10; and dear great-grandmother of five.
Mrs. Novince was the beloved wife of the late Charles E. Novince (1990). Her parents, Harry W. and Marguerite Martin (nee Beckman); son-in-law, John Bildstein; and siblings, Harry Martin, Jack Martin and Carol Capello, are also deceased.

Mr. Price was a retired fuel truck driver with CSX Railroad.
He was the beloved husband of Lorraine E. (nee Rice) Price; loving father of Sue A. (Thomas) Kozlowski of Mentor, Laura A. Mr. Jansen retired after working in sales for many years.
He was the beloved husband of 42 and a half years to Marian (nee Sorrentino) Jansen; loving father of John R. Jansen of Willoughby and Michael J. Jansen of Willoughby; grandfather of Daniel, Nicholas, Joseph and John; brother of Jean (Hank) Svoboda of Parma and Ann Shutack of Chagrin Falls; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Born April 7, 1936, in Cleveland, he had been a Lake County resident of 50 years living in Mentor.
He was a member of St. John Vianney Church in Mentor, where he was a former CCD teacher, reader at the church and CYO coach. He was a member of SABR (Society of American Baseball Research). He self published a book "REAL Major League Baseball," which is in the Hall of Fame Library in Cooperstown, N.Y.
Mr. Peters was a 1953 graduate of Cathedral Latin High School and received his undergraduate degree from Borromeo and John Carroll University. He received his graduate degree from John Carroll University.
Mr. Peters taught for 33 years, teaching English, Latin and philosophy. He taught at St. Joseph, Kirtland and for many years at Brush High School. He also coached baseball, football and basketball while teaching. He was retired.
Mr. Peters taught at Lakeland Community College and at the Academy of Court Reporting. He was very active in sports and coached many Connie Mack teams. He enjoyed lecturing, watching sports and his circle of friends.
He lived life the way he wanted to. He was a maverick spirit, a true character loved by his family and friends. He instilled the importance of education and independent thinking in his children and was very proud that all six children graduated from Lake Catholic High School and John Carroll University.
He was the beloved husband of Mary M. (Dwyer) Peters; loving father of Terri (Jim) Webb of Euclid, Mary (Patrick) Figoli, Frank P. Peters, John T. (Tina) Peters of S. Euclid, Jeanine (Kevin) Peters Wojciechowski of Olmsted Township, and Karen M. Mr. Baird had a successful sales career with Chilton Publishing, and he enjoyed life most when spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Upon retirement, he moved with his wife to Boynton Beach, Fla., and was a longtime member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Rita M. Baird (nee Prinzel) for 50 years. He was the devoted father of Michael J. Baird (Jacqueline) of Kirtland Hills, Gregg T. Baird (Leslie) of Euclid, Carol A. Glaser (Bob) of Chardon, and David H. Mr. Clinger worked throughout Lake County, including Lake County National Bank, Union Sand and Supply, Clinger Realty, and retired from Miltronics, Inc.
Ed was a member of Lake County Farmers' Conservation Club and the Sunday morning Hagan's Golf League. He loved vacationing, campfires, fishing, his daughter's chocolate chip cookies, The Browns and The Indians and was known for his sense of humor.
Survivors are his wife and soulmate, Jacqueline (nee Sestak), whom he married June 18, 1960; children, John

Loretta E. Reese 82, died July 3, 2008, at her daughter's home in Madison, after a three week battle with cancer.
She was born in July 11, 1925, in Painesville, to Lester W. and Ruth E. (Abrams) Jones.
Loretta graduated from Perry High School in 1944. On May 1, 1948, she married Robert C. Reese of Windsor and they recently celebrated their 60th anniversary.
Loretta was a member of the Madison Avenue Church of Christ in Painesville. During her lifetime, she served God in various ways; Sunday school teacher superintendent, co-treasurer, V.B.S. director, V.B.S. craft director, designer of Madrigal banners, and sewing costumes for alive nativity scene. She also authored two craft books for standard Publishing Co. Family was important to her and she prayed for them daily.
She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Reese of Perry; daughter, Nicolette (C. Frank) White of Madison; three grandchildren, Angela (Leland) Alexander of Ashtabula, Charles (Jennifer) White of Leroy, and Crystal White of Ashtabula; four great-grandchildren, Davista and Lee Alexander and Joshua and Noah White, all of Ashtabula; sister, Shirley Fumich of Port Orange, Fla.; and brother, Willard Jones of Madison.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Ruth Jones.

A talented cabinet maker, he was the owner of Great Lakes Cabinet Company in Eastlake.
He was the loving father of Austin J. Troeter; beloved son of James F. Troeter of Thompson and Phyllis M. Demaske of Richmond Heights; brother of Kathleen A. (Mike) Facer of Roaming Shores, Sheri L. Kovello of Willowick and Steven J. (Theresa) Troeter of Euclid; uncle of eight; and maternal grandson of Frank and Ruth Lapinskas of Euclid.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Thelma Troeter.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service. Pastor Dale Diggs of New Promise Church in Kirtland will officiate. Burial will be private.
Family and friends will gather at 7 p.m. Wednesday for a celebration of Jim's life at the Eastlake Marina, 36000 Reeves Road, Eastlake.
The family suggests contributions in his name be made at any Charter One Bank to the memorial fund for Jimmy Troeter for his son, Austin.

Funeral services for MaryAnn Schmikla-Lukianowicz (nee Francis), age 58, of Painesville, will be held 8:30 p.m. Monday at The McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St., Mentor (Route 615, north of Route 2).
MaryAnn died Thursday, July 3, 2008, at her daughter's residence in Willoughby, surrounded by her family after a brief battle with cancer.
Born Dec. 21, 1949, in Cleveland, she was a Lake County resident for 50 years, living in Painesville and Willoughby.
MaryAnn was a waitress for over 30 years working at many area restaurants including Massiello's, Johnny's Room 24 and the Terrace Room Restaurant in Mentor as well as bring a bartender at many local taverns throughout Lake County.
She loved bingo and doing ceramics. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
MaryAnn was the loving mother of Jacqueline R. Schmikla and Christine L. Schmikla, both of Willoughby; cherished grandmother of Lisa M. Fende, Joseph R. Schmikla and Jonathan L. Schmikla, all of Willoughby; devoted daughter of George Michael Francis of Perry; and dear sister of Linda (Woody) Wilson of Painesville, Judith (Ted) Knop of Mentor and Cheryl (Don) Getch of Perry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her mother, Vivian Francis (nee Woods) and brother, David E. Francis, are deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Sylvia M. (Keller) Welch, 70, of Mentor, died Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at her residence in Mentor after a long illness.
Born Jan. 2, 1938, in Columbus, she had been a Lake County resident for 43 years, living in Madison and Mentor.
Sylvia graduated with honors from Bexley High School in 1955. She was active for years with Boy Scout Troop 380, and also took in hundreds of orphaned animals each year. She was an avid Gold Wing Rider and was involved with the Blue Knights and Knights Ladies,
She was the beloved wife of Terry Welch, whom she married May 31, 1958, the day of her grandparent's wedding anniversary; loving mother of April Welch-McNeal of Erie, Pa., and Pat (Teresa) Welch of Corvallis, Ore.; grandmother of Robin, Chasity and Jennifer; and sister of Charlene Boring, Shirley Rider, and Carmen Rowley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Evelyn (Curtis) Keller; and brother, Jack Keller.

Memorial services for Esther B. (nee Woodring) Proffitt, 79, of Willoughby, will be 8:30 p.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Mrs. Proffitt entered into peace Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at Manor Care Nursing Facility in Willoughby with her family at her side.
Born Sept. 11, 1928, in Boone, N.C., she had been a Lake County resident for 51 years, living in Willoughby.
She taught ceramics and was an excellent seamstress and quilter. She was a volunteer for the Cancer Society, and was a very giving person, helping and participating in medical research studies. She was very devoted to her family.
She was the loving mother of Shelia (Mark) Proffitt Hoffman of Willoughby and Steven W. (Denise Tripepi) Proffitt of Willoughby; and cherished grandmother of Matthew Steven Hoffman, Jacob Kyle Proffitt and Andrew Henry Hoffman.
She was the beloved wife of 45 years to the late Loyd Silas Proffitt, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, who passed away in 1997; and daughter of the late Frank Lewis and Mattie Elnora (nee Moretz) Woodring.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Brian Badley-Bonner of Hospice of the Western Reserve will officiate. Burial will be private.
