Burial Services

The earliest human burial dates back 100,000 years. While cultures vary widely in their practices, the fact that human beings have chosen to bury members of their tribes or villages for this long defines burial as one of the longest-lived and most widespread of traditions. For an overview of the global diversity in burial and an in-depth look at American burial customs, check out the websites in the Resources section below.

Our Burial Services

Here at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes, we have the deepest respect for this traditional practice, as we know it has roots in respect and reverence. If you are interested in learning more about the burial services we offer, please review the following information. Should you have questions about anything, please call us at (440) 942-0700.

In making the decision to bury a loved one or when choosing burial during pre-planning, you will need to make a number of decisions. You must select a casket and burial vault,  and choose the cemetery where the casketed remains will be interred. You will also need to select a headstone and arrange for its installation by the cemetery groundskeepers. While this may sound like a lot, you don't have to make all those decisions alone; any licensed member of the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes staff can assist you .

An Open Invitation

We offer a number of affordable burial service options. They range from: simple burials where only a member of our staff oversees the interment of your loved one in the cemetery of your choice; simple graveside services lead by a minister or celebrant; and traditional funeral service followed by interment. Each can be tailored to meet the needs and expectations of today's price-conscious families. Call us today at (440) 942-0700 to learn more about the burial services offered by McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes.
