Obituary for Betty R Goldie

Betty R. (nee Titgemeier) Goldie, 90, of Willoughby, passed away Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018, at Fairmount Health Care Center in Willoughby.
Born July 20, 1928, in Cleveland, she and her husband Bob were residents of Chardon for 52 years.
Betty was a volunteer at Geauga Hospital for many years and a former employee of the Geauga County Board of Education.
She loved baseball, especially the Cleveland Indians, enjoyed walking with friends and reading and loved her cats.
Betty was the loving mother of Robert C. (Beverly) Goldie of Dublin, Ohio, James R. (Wanda) Goldie of Mentor, Richard A. (Jacqueline) Goldie of Arlington, Va., and Greg C. (Bobbie) Goldie of Milton, Ga.; cherished grandmother of Andrew, Patrick, Brad, Ayden and Abigail; loving sister of Carl J. Titgemeier of Ave Maria, Fla.; and aunt of John (Martha) Titgemeier, Amy (Tim) Titgemeier Stevens, Starr (John) Wlodarski and Hope Bright.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert M. Goldie; and parents, Carl J. and Florence M. (nee Sidaway) Titgemeier.
A celebration of her life will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, in The Lyons Chapel at the Nason Center of Breckenridge Village, 36859 Ridge Road, Willoughby. Burial will be private.
