Margaret K "Peggy"  Parsons
Funeral Mass for Margaret K. “Peggy” (neé Kearns) Parsons, 93, of Waite Hill, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Mrs. Parsons passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018, at her home.
Born Jan. 18, 1925, in Cleveland, Peggy had lived in Euclid until she was age 13, when her family moved to Kirtland, and she met the love of her life. Peggy had been a resident of Waite Hill for the past 70 years.
She was a homemaker, den mother, gardener and an active member of Immaculate Conception Church.
Peggy was the loving mother of James N. (Susie) Parsons, M.D. of Columbus, Michael E. (Nancy) Parsons of Canandaigua, N.Y., Elizabeth A. (Jeffrey) McMurtrie of Kirtland, Mary P. (William) Rainey of Willoughby Hills and Joseph P. Parsons of Waite Hill; grandmother of 17; and great-grandmother of 19.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Ralph Edward Parsons; parents, James and Euphrasia (neé Myers) Kearns; parents-in-law, Norman and Martha Parsons; and sister, Jean Hanson.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in Waite Hill Village Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in name are suggested to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
