Funeral services for Andrew G. Stash, 75, of Chardon, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church, 508 Mentor Ave., Painesville. Pastor Kurt Ziemann will officiate. (Family and friends to meet at church.)
Mr. Stash passed away Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018, at Heather Hill Nursing Facility in Chardon.
Born May 8, 1942, in Cleveland, he had been a Geauga County resident for the past 43 years.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, member of Zion Lutheran Church in Painesville, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Mr. Stash worked as mechanical engineer for 40 years at Tridelta Industries and Yazaki International.
He was the beloved husband of 47 years to Rosemary (nee Hoegler) Stash; loving father of Matthew A. (Kara) Stash and David C. Stash; cherished grandfather of Kayli and Abby Stash; brother of Donald Stash; and uncle of Brian, Mark and Adam Stash, and Jolene Quick.
Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Anna (nee Semko) Stash.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
