Obituary for George S Moroschak
Funeral Mass for George S. Moroschak, 88, of Willowick, will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 32114 Vine St., Willowick. Fr. Steve Breck will officiate the Mass.
Mr. Moroschak passed away Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, at Salida Woods Assisted Living in Mentor.
Born Feb. 13, 1929, in Cleveland, he had been a resident of Lake County for the past 61 years.
George was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Church in Willowick, Holy Name Society, and the Willowick Senior Center. He enjoyed bowling and golfing, and loved the Cleveland Indians and Polka music.
He was the loving father of Jerry G. (Nancy) Moroschak and Lisa A. (Dan) Shelby; cherished grandfather of Brendan, Erin (Jeff), Katie (Travis) and Kristin (fiancé, Curtis); brother of Michael Moroschak; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
George was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mariann (nee Fox) Moroschak; parents, Stephen and Susan (nee Homza) Moroschak; sisters, Anne Levesque, Helen Moroschak and Mary Krazniki; and sister-in-law, Mabel Moroschak.
Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church prior to the Mass. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
