A Celebration of Life Mass for Nancy Jean Nalepa, 68, of Largo, Fla., will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 32114 Vine St., Willowick.
Nancy passed away Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights with her family at her side.
Born May 31, 1949, in Youngstown, she had been a lifetime resident of Lake County before moving to Largo, Fla., last year.
Nancy was a 1967 graduate of Mentor High School, Marymount School of Nursing and Lakeland School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse and a 37-year employee of the Cleveland Clinic.
Nancy loved to travel, especially to Europe and the Caribbean. In Largo, Fla., she was a member of the Elks and Veterans of Foreign War.
She was the loving sister of Patricia A. Szeker and Larry F. Nalepa; aunt of Frank M. (Julie) Szeker Jr., Jennifer A. (Jim) McLaughlin, Jared C. Nalepa and Brett A. Nalepa; and great-aunt of Justin, Kaitlyn, Marissa and Alexis.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Frank J. and Pauline I. (nee Wrona) Nalepa; and sister-in-law, Nancy Nalepa.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
